English Speakers? Or impostors!

In this thread I decided to post a website which claims to be run by an English speaking organization. More to the point, they have decided not to translate the page into "foreign" languages.

Axis-Symmetry7. Sorry. I can't understand. I'm not natively speak English. Can translate? Get a dictionary.

Has this page been translated from a foreign lanuage? Is it run by LolCats? Or are these individuals a product of the American public school system?

They're using the "ing" form of verbs a lot, and leaving out plenty of words. I am a result of the public school system (1st-12th grade, at least), and I certainly wouldn't write like that. What do the errors seem like to you guys? It makes me think of Chinese, frankly.

I am confused as to why it matters.

Regardless; as Wolf said there is a lot of the 'ing' verbs as well as a few spelling mistakes that are too obvious and creless to be typos. At the same time the website has a funny feel about it. The writing style (whatever it is about) has a bit of a sly tone to me. Definately not a native English speaker thats for sure. I have never seen anybody who speaks English as their first language to type like that. I agree on the Chinese/Asian that Wolf said.

Judging by the member's section I'd say they are from a south asian country. Pakistan maybe.

My first thought was Japan, considering he's got a lot of subbed anime up there - but he just seems to be distributing other folks' subs.

I'd imagine he's a high school or university student. Almost certainly not an English speaker. Fahdly, Omar - those sorts of names line up with South Asia, as Fancy Pants says.

More importantly, I'm kind of curious as to how you came across this website :/ Otherwise, yeah, they are most definitely foreign.

I was doing a Google search for reviews on AMD C-50 processors. A 15" laptop for under $300 USD seems too good to be true.

Now that I have one, it seems like a good laptop for homework/office use.

Too true, generally a decently functional laptop with any gaming capability (minimal included) typically runs $500+. I'd be curious too! It seems odd that that site would pop up though in my opinion.

As a natively speak English, myself. I can safely say that this seems perfectly legit.

Unless you're being sarcastic read it again Red. Too many easy words missed out and spelling mistakes.
