It was on the news this troll was going to dead peoples facebook sites and writing horrible messages and putting porno pictures so that there friends and family could see. And this troll got caught put on TV and they put a whole segment about her. And they revealed that she was a loner had no real friends was anti social fat smokes (because she was smoking at the time they caught her) and she had no friends and family. How sad is that? Does that surprise you that she lives such a lonely pathetic life like that? Like no friends no family complete loner. Is that what these trolls really are just pathetic losers of life that have nothing better to do then send people these types of messages all day long? How sad and she got done a put in jail and the police said that they know about these trolls and they are cracking down on them. But yet there's still tonnes of trolls out there that I know but anyway.

have you got a source for that?

i don't really understand how you add someone if you're dead. if you die, the account will die. i know this, i'm friends with people who are now dead. there's still a lot of activity from close friends of the person, but she hasn't become friends with people. do you mean on memorial groups/pages?

That'd be weird if she did become friends with people still.

Vertical345;5422961Who decides what is douchebaggery? Boom, free speech is gone. It's not free if someone is deciding what can and can't be said, whether it be called douchebaggery or not.

This. Since when can you go to jail for being mean to people online? That's not cool at all.

If you published it and distributed it in any printed form or stood up on a podium and made these sorts of comments, then you'd be arrested and probably jailed too, why should the internet be exempt? It's a broadcast medium as widespread if not more so than any other.

What gives anyone the right to upset the families of dead people on a mass-scale like that? Stating your opinion is one thing but there's a clear line.

I don't see any clear line there. It's a shitty thing to do, for sure, but I simply wouldn't trust a government to decide "correctly" what's ok to say and what isn't. In my opinion, you have to take the bad with the good when it comes to free speech.

You have free speech, yes, but that doesnt excuse being a dick.

You cant get arrested for making fun of dead people IRL or on the internet. Its a dick move and might get you punched in the face, but its technically legal.

You can get arrested for saying the word "shit" or "fuck" in public - I think a mass-hate campaign against someone who is dead featuring all of the above would also perhaps qualify.

FileTrekker;5435737You can get arrested for saying the word "shit" or "fuck" in public - [/QUOTE] Only in particular areas with an ordnance and its usually just a ticket, not "arrested".

The boardwalk in Virgina Beach has these signs:

Again, its a dick move, but its legal.
