yup. just what it says. if you were pitted against a hoard of zombies, what weapon would you choose? would it be close combat, or ranged. please explain why you chose your weapon. mine would have to be 12-gauge shotgun. or a browning .50 machine gun with a chainsaw bayonette.

No need for the link, you guys have advertised for it way too much already around here.

I probably use a shotgun, it looks efficient to me. One shot, one kill. Hopefully.

yeah, but you gotta get pretty close to use it effectivly. so a shotgun and another weapon would be a good plan. perhaps a metal storm would be good

a sword, preferably a katana or boken, i'm into that kind of shit. otherwise I'd use a baseball bat, aluminium or wood.

Myth. Loaded with slugs a shotgun has an accurate range out to 200 yards, With 000 Buck, around 60 or so yards. Thats MORE than enough range to make any zombie hash. Thoug i agree with a back up weapon. Would rather have a Battle rifle and a machete myself. You can carry more rifle ammo than shotgun shells for the same amount of space and weight.

Either Shotgun or other. The other being the Gravity Gun from the Half-Life series. The Shotgun being from Half-Life 2.

Shotguns are the classic anti-zombie weapons. Aim for the face.

a baseball bat would be pretty good. its nice and portable. it never runs out of ammo, and it can do some serious damage. that would be a good close combat weapon. that is my official close combat weapon in case a hoard of zombies attempts to take over. question is, whats better. a metal bat, or a wooden bat? a wooden one would be lighter and easier to carry around, but a metal bat would be devestating when connected with a zombie head

Chainsaw. Most swords are under 4 feet long. A chainsaw with 42inch(3 1/2 foot) bar, is a powered sword. If the cutters are sharp, you can cut down a tree 3 foot in diameter in about 45 seconds. A zombie's torso is much softer than wood, and only 12 inches in diameter.

My back weapon up would be colt .45.
