I just copied this off of FilesNetwork, but I wanted to make sure people here read it. I am so impressed with FilesNetwork and I am nothing but happy to be working so closely with them. There is nothing better than the fact I KNOW I can go to a publisher and mention a filesnetwork site with absolutely no fear. The Site staff work SO hard to make the network as great as it is. See you guys around the "office" Posted by: Pro-Filer on 06-07-2004 @ 15:44 s.gifThis News Item has been viewed 324 times! Great news today visitors of all FilesNetwork sites! After FileFront has been hosting and supporting FilesNetwork for almost 2 year (apart from being our main download mirror), we've decided to increase our partnership and in a way "merge" together to combine our powers and bring you the best of both worlds!

This will mean we can take FilesNetwork to a whole new level. You'll start seeing the fruits of this increase partnership in the coming months.

Some of the things you'll be seeing is the better intergration of FileFront elements within FilesNetwork such as more direct download links for the FileFront mirror, intergration of FilesNetwork's and FileFront's User Databases and more.

One of the things most of you have probably noticed is how our urls are no longer http://www.?????files.com but ?????.filefront.com The reason for this is purely for advertising purposes and to visualize our increased partnership. Note that the http://www.?????files.com links / urls will always remain working though! Because of this, you'll have to log in again if you previously chose to "Remember my login". If you've forgotten your password, you can retrieve it by going to our retrieve lost password form! The page to retrieve a lost password for new-style FilesNetwork sites (BFVFiles.com, FarCryFiles.com, HaloFiles.com, UT200XFiles.com) can be found here.

Also, in case some of our hosted sites are wondering, your url will not change because of the above!!! It will continue to be http://modname.hl2files.com (for example) so rest assured! smile.gif

Finally, we're also working on re-implenting the CD Burning links on the file info pages, this feature has been gone for almost a half year and has been missed greatly by our dear 56k users, so good news, it's (almost) back!

Well, very exciting times are ahead and there's a lot of things going on right now so I'll leave it at this!

Hope you all have a great week, I know we do!

Cheers to FileFront and cheers to great times to come!
