So, there are some pretty decent woods and a creek on my Uni's campus, and I was bored so i start looking for flint to attempt to do some knapping. However, it occurred to me I did not know where to look so all I found was shale. Does anyone happen to know where flint forms in general. I always thought if formed around light flowing water, but I'm not sure.
Chalk and limestone rock.
Often cavemen will camp around flint deposits for a good source of raw material for tools.
Maybe you should try checking out the fraternities.
