I dont know if anyone here has experience this or something similar.

I was just sitting around, listening to some Pink Floyd and drinking a beer (one of several), and I realised I'm just like my father. We both just seem to sit around drinking beer and listening to music after a long day's work. I came to this realization after quite a bit of contemplation (I was a few beers in), but even after I've moved out and live a few hundred kilometres away from home (I'm a student away at university) I somehow act like someone I would have least expected to. I guess its just how family is, maybe its genetics, maybe its not, I think its just experience and influence. Anyone else have that feeling that they've become a lot like their parents? Its almost scary isnt it?

I talked about this in english class today in college. WE decided that eventually every woman becomes like her mother. And every man like his father.

I'm very much becomming like my dad, although I don't see him very often anymore (can't stand eachother) music-wise, but mostly in terms of obsession and a terrible love for the wrong kind of cars.. the kind that empties the wallet.

Characterwise, my father and I are almost nothing alike. Not from our mannerisms either. I come after the German side physically, but the British side in everything else.

One thing we do share though is our love for ties. We also work in the same company :p

thats pretty funny. Anyway i have not expierienced much but i have seen it with my relatives and couzins. Sometimes they are exactly the same. Then there are some that u would have never guessed they were related. But i think it depends where u grow up, life expieriences, and how u grow up.
