So we had one of these threads not too long ago ("What kind of food do you like?"), but instead of reviving that one I thought it'd be cool to just have a general food discussion thread. We all come from many parts of the world, so I thought maybe if there's a particular recipe or combination or whatever that any of you like, you could post it here for us to try.

I've got a few I'll post when/if I can find them.

Anywho, one thing I've loved since I was younger is potato chips and ketchup. Before you gag, it's actually got an interesting flavor. And remember back like 10 years ago when they were making that green and purple Heinz ketchup? Dude that stuff was the best with potato chips. Fritos go rather well with ketchup, as well. Especially those big ones. The scoops.

Well that's my weird food post for the day...

I was literally just watching videos of yummy foods on Youtube and said something about it to Obankobi.

Staying fit sucks, I want to be able to eat wherever, whenever, and whatever I want. That's my contribution, I won't look at this thread any longer because I'll just get hungry. =p

Y'know, this reminds me, we never revived that "First Day of Lent!" thread in Spam this year.

I am disappoint.

I've quite taken to making pizza. It costs about $3 for a 50cm x 30cm square (I cook it on a cookie sheet). I'm getting pretty decent, but I need to make the crust more flavorful. I'm thinking of adding garlic to the dough.

Dude, why did you have to use centimeters? I had to get out a ruler and everything :p

I'm also quite fond of Pizza. Seafood is another one of my favorites, particularly shrimp, scampi and fried.

Haha problem with centimetres? Get with the modern times man! :p

I love making home made pizza. Im pretty strict with my diet and health, so nothing beats a good home made pizza.

Avocado, chicken, sun dried tomato, spinach leaves, parmesan and grated cheese. So good.

Yeah, I know, I do like the metric system better, myself. Of course, anyone brought up in the US is used to the imperial system.

I like most every kind of cuisine excusing some that are too bland (meat and potatoes) or personally disgusting (ie: blood pudding). I try to cook at least something I haven't tried each week; falafel or pesto or jambalaya or slow-roasted pork or bulgulgi or whatever I feel like.

If you're just going to talk about random crap like chips and ketchup though... then Nutella + almost anything and string cheese are snack foods I'll never get sick of.

Ahh yes, Nutella is a gift from the heavens. Sometimes I just eat it out of the jar :P
