I've never been for or against any news channel until I saw this:

YouTube - Fox News: You're not special and Mr Roger was an Evil Man

I grew up watching Mr. Rogers. (Instead of that crap that's for kids these days: Dora the Explorer will turn any child into a vegetable.)

That Fox news can attack him leaves me in stunned disbelief - And then trying to BLAME him for things he had no control over. "Yes, well since he instilled in children that they may be worth a shit, they are now RUINED! DESTROYED! It has nothing to do with me buying my kid a PS3/360 instead of teaching him how to work, or giving him all the money he needs so he can go out and do what he wants. No, I distance myself from all responsiblity and now lay it at the feet of a man that only tried to help".

Fucking disgusting. From this point on, Fox is dead to me.

something to believe.

Wow, Fox is retarded.

My mother told me I was special too, man- she must have been trying to inflate my self-worth so I would go out and do absolutely nothing for the rest of my life.

Oh my God, Mr. Rogers was optimistic, THAT HAPPY BASTARD!

And don't forget about the other lady who also blamed Big Bird and Dr. Spock.

Its all good in the hood.

I have never trusted on Fox News due to its obvious bias and programs like The O'Reilly Factor which is mainly for just boosting one person's ego. "Fair & Balanced" is nothing more than a false slogan.

Jesus christ, I don't even know the guy and I'm already shaking with laughter and disbelief. Telling some kid they're special ruins them for life?

Man, my life is sooooo fucked.

Why do people keep on trying to find negative effects in everything these days? What's next? "A new study has shown that telling your children to eat their vegetables is a bad thing, because they have to learn form their own mistakes. They can only learn by experiencing the downsides of things by themselves" Yeah, give it a year or two, it'll be the next new headline I'm sure.

You're worth something so you've got the capability to go out there and do things! What an evil evil idea! :vikki:

All mass media is garbage, however Faux News is the absolute worst. George Bush himself even used the phrase "fair and balanced"... :vikki:

YouTube - Pres. Bush : Libby commute "a fair and balanced decision"

The thing that hurts the most is that I know for a fact people take this station seriously and watch it habitually. Mess with the vest, die like the rest.

...One word: OUCH. They're saying everything's bad for you these days. I have to agree with Aeg about how Dora will make you a vegetable. I've tried watching some shows, and they quickly bump my IQ down about 10 per hour.

Holy hell, I used to laugh at Fox, now I actually don't like them. Its a kids show(!) That, and I somehow find it hard to beleve that evermy member of a specific age group has based their entire outlook on life off of one show they can probably hardly remember. "I don't deserve a C, I'm special! Mr. Rogers told me so!" Give me a break.
