I don't know whether it's something you can alter as a skin, but you could expand the area devoted to the posts a bit. Especially on widescreen monitors a 1024 pixel div container is wasting a lot of space.

It'd probably be a better method to set it to be 90% of the width of the screen or something like that rather than a specific pixel value to future proof and maintain backwards compatibility.

It may create a new container for each post though so depending on whether you're altering the HTML rather than the underlying file it might be tricksie. Dunno.

Yeah, it's possible to set a fluid width rather than a fixed one, like this (90% fluid width):

It basically means that the width is 90% relative to your browser's width, or to be precise, the current dimension that exists within your browser.

The only downside of using a fluid width, would be that if you decide to shrink your browser to a small, compact area, you'd get something like this:

Uhm. That actually looks a lot better to me than what I usually get if I shrink my browser (i.e. half the post vanishes.) ^^;

Fair enough. It's technically not bad at all; in-fact, it's usually suggested to have a fluid width instead of fixed. But I guess I personally don't like it as much. While it's nice to have the post viewed in full regardless of the size of browser, it's annoying to have everything cluttered. =p
