Who was your favorite GI-Joe back in the good old day's of GI-JOE?!

I would say for me there were a few. I like, Cobra Commander (Cobraaaaaaaa!!!) , Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow (white Ninja). I had so many GI-JOE's when I was a kid, I should probably gather my collection and sell them on ebay.

I know many of you on this forum are young, and you might not have grew up with GI-JOE. It was a cartoon of the 80's. Anyway if you have some good GI-JOE memories, let's hear them.

oh, I remember there was a team of modders working on a BF1942 mod related to GI-JOE (I think it was BF1942). They didn't finish sadly, but I hope to one day create a GI-JOE mod or even work on an entire game or get the idea out there to game creators!!

I don't forget my roots and I will always have a GI-JOE kid in me.

I actually never had a GI-Joe! Lucky bastard. I was always stuck with the Barbies and the girly stuff, since my 2 sisters were older than me.

ouch. did you at least get your hands on some kind of "combat-barbie" :p

When GI-JOE first came out, they made "barbie-size" dolls. They then went to the smaller figures, and sold like hot cakes. They had some wicked ideas and it was cool because sooner or later you could see all the characters on the cartoon.

I used to watch the TV show! I always thought that cobra had the advantage over GI JOE but they alwas didnt. I was sad because Cobra never really won anything sad%20%28frown%29.gif. So I burned all my GI-JOE figures. Too bad, could have made a lot of money off of those.

Well it seems in most of the show's Cobra was winning by a long shot, until 10 minutes left in the show. This is when the GI-JOE's would some how always turn things around and come out victorious. Every time :P (common bad guy vs good guy scenarios).

They had M16's and camo outfits as far as I know.

I didn't have toys as a kid, but I had a bandana(lol) and sticks, with that, I was a freakin ninja. I would jump out of the bushes and scare the shit out of everyone. R.I.P grandpa. j/k the only things I would receive were educational stuff like books, they sure made good frisbies.

I still have like 4 GI Joes hanging around. Not the ones from the show, though. I have a paratrooper, a Ernie Pyle, Omaha Beach US Army Infantry and a Royal Marine. I keep them in their boxes so I can sell them later for a lot of money.

I believe I recieved one when I was around seven, but I never opened it. Looked nicer in the box and thought it would be worth more. Don't know where it is right now. :uhm:
