I'm interested in peoples views on "gibs". What would people give as the definition of a "gib"? Mine is a ball of rolling, mutalated flesh. An example is on the game Unreal Tournament. Hit someone with a rocket launcher and he will be "gibbed". What is your view?
Never heard of "gibs" before.

How could you have never heard of "gibs" before, Giz? You need to go waste more of your time playing video games!
Honestly, though, I don't know how many interpretations of "gib" you could have. A gib's a gib.

The only thing I think to when I hear "gib" or "gibs" is Mr Gibs who is a dev in the FH team. :clueless: Never heard of Gib meaning something... :clueless:
No! I'm Spamacus!

Gibs is a new term to me, have heard of people complaining that there aren't enough giblets in games these days, but never gibs. Personally I don't think "gibs" should be a determining factor in whether or not a game becomes a keeper. :Puzzled:
The word "Gib" reminds me of Enemy Territory. When you shoot someone, you can gib them so a medic cannot revive them.
Makes me think of little pices of flesh and muscle tissue.
I've heard it before, but never really used it as a word. It makes me think of the UT option instagib.
even so, I don't find the quantity of gibs to be a large factor in determining the quality of a game.
gibs ARE fun, though. Teehee, limbs!
It seems to be an UT thing mainly, as bodies explode into "gibs", chunks of flesh that may or may not contain bones.
