So has there been one (or more times) that you've given into peer pressure? The last time I did (I made sure never to give in to peer pressure again after that....) I was at at under 18's regular dance/nightclub thing held by a club and was 17 at the time, I had been to it a few times ...and the only time i got a dance was when some girl decided i was cute enough to teach the style of dance there... (hands on butts and sway... not too difficult) upon asking her age i find out she's 12.... (talk about feeling dirty... apart from height she could have passed as 16/17 easy... anyway) so my friends and I are doing the usuall thing of looking and daring :uhoh: anyway somhow a group of girls arrived and they all paired up cept me and they had somone I could dance with :naughty: but when 5 girls have to stand in a line to hide her you know its not good...:( she was huge! and ugly... so i danced with her out of pity -_- anyway I also learned you shouldnt dance with somone out of pity they take it wrong. anyway they all started passing and she looks at me (how fast do you think you could make the toilet to throw up?) and all her friends and mine are telling us to pash :barf: i'm pretty strong willed but... after nearly 20 mins of nagging they wore me down... then AFTER they say to her "Happy birthday" ... she had turned 13 that night, then she dumped me the next day, but not before giving me a throat infection that lasted 3 weeks  so.. I will no longer dance with somone out of pity and am immune to peer pressure.... and always ALWAYS ask age first :uhoh: least now being 19 I can go to a bar or nightclub and be fairly sure that they wont be children (I still ask age anyway.. cant be to careful..) oh... and tounging a dog would have been nicer, but i wasnt bothered that she dumped me, it'll probably be the only time in her life that she gets to say that  I think i'm going to throw up now...

What sorts of clubs to you visit so that you constantly mistake the age of girls by half a century? Take some friggin night-vision googles next time ;)

I usually don't give in to peer pressure when it's about principles (taking drugs or something similar) but if it is nothing serious I can be persuaded as I don't want to kill all the fun.

whats really strange is girls my age arent too interested in me, but girls about 4 years younger really love me... but I dont go out with girls with THAT big an age difference.. 2 to 3 years would be as far as I would go... mayby when im in mid 20's? I do have standards :p

Well, "older" teenagers always seem cool to young ones. I guess 2 or 3 years of age-difference aren't so bad but the younger you are the more of an impact the difference has.

Well I haven't given into peer presure for a while. I don't even remember why I did. But I live off my own "standards." I know whats right for me, and if it's to much I say "No, I am not going to do this." Seems to have worked for me. :)

I perfer girls my own age plus or minus 10 to 12 months. Older/younger than that don't appeal to me.

When I was younger I gave in a few times in a failed attempt to be "cool". Now it makes me look stupid if I would do it. Mostly it was say this or do that, not like drugs or beer.

I've only given into it once, and I still regret it (wasn't drug/alcohol related). Now I'm less likely to fall for it.

Umm. That's really gross. Ew.

Anyway, I don't think I ever have. The closest thing, is when I was nine, my friend convinced me to steal this guys jacket that a had a little-kid crush on (I don't know how to describe it, other than that). I gave in, of course, but he saw me, grabbed it back, and called me stupid. Which, of course, I mostly agreed with.

Other than that one incident, I'm too different from most females around here to get close enough to them to have their opinion matter to me. So they can't really apply too much pressure if I don't care, eh.

i never gave into peer pressure, i started smoking cigarettes of my own accord. nobody ever encouraged me to start, nor did anyone ever push me into smoking weed. i take responsibility for my own actions. i believe peer pressure is a thing made up by kids to avoid taking full responsibility.
