As of Today and Yesterday, I have noticed my hair acting a little bit . . . funny. It's usually very curly, even when not in the Humidity, and it is very humid as of late, and it's not curling. I know that part was stupid and pointless, but that's when I started noticing other oddities. My hair is coming out. Not in big patches our anything, just singular hairs, and coming more frequently. All day it has been falling out. I grabbed a lock of my hair and pulled, nothing happend until I reached the very last hairs of the lock, which fell out. My mother, every the optimist, says it's nothing to worry about, no matter how much I ask her about, I always get the same answer. I am trying to grow my hair long, and it's already a little past my shoulders, so this would be very frustating if my hair suddenly started to fall out. Plus, I'm 14 Frickin years old. My (Half) Brother had the same problems when he was 16. His hair started falling out, he had this huge bald patch on his head for like 6 Years, he finally Shaved his head last year. He keeps taunting me and saying my hair is going to fall out, though I've countered this, mainly because: His Father is Very Bald, almost all the males of his family are. Just because he starts losing his hair at 16, doesn't mean I'm going to. Anyways, I was wondering what I should do. I'm wondering if I'm just shedding, or if I'm actually going bald. I just want a little incentive on this, and if anyone had any similar problems.

I'm not a Doctor, although I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night but my advice is to go see one. Good luck with that, I had a few friends that were losing their hair at 15.

Meh, I hate the Docter, but my mother will probably just refuse and my Dad will just laugh. I would if I get the Opportunity.

Another thing I noticed is that after I cleaned my brush, completley Bare, after about a Week and a half of using it, it looked full of Hair again. Shit.

The only thing that stops falling hair completely is:

Wow, that has got to suck. As I understand it though, it is easier to prevent baldness while you still have hair, than it is to get your hair back afterwards. So you'd better start looking for treatment!

Mr. Matt, I'm not completley sure is I am balding or I'm just routinley Shedding. According to most websites I've read, my hair should be falling out in slightly larger "Clumps."

I try not to, though when it took me this Freaking long to grow my hair and it suddenly starts to fall out, I worry. I do not want to end 14-Year old an Bald.

First, go see a docter if you want to be sure and have the possibility.

Second, it doesn't mean it's that bad. Single hairs always fall out. Plus, (over here), the it's very hot. I don't know if that affects your hair, but maybe a bit? ( I mean, I don't want to compare you to a dog, but dog hairs do fall out when it's summertime.)

Secondly, the brush full of hair is, I think, pretty normal. Especially as you said you've longer hair, hairs always stick on their brush. And you used it a week and a half. Well, I think that if you have long, curly hair that you've got nothing to worry about when the brush looks pretty much stuffed with hair.

I mean I'm shedding Constantly, like every couple of minutes a Hair Falls out.

Are you using any new shampoos/conditioners lately?
