Well I know some of you really got into Halloween when you was younger or your really getting into it now.. When I was younger I used to go all out, making a costume and getting with friends and going to a party, it was fun. What kind of things do you all like to do, if anything? Sadly this year I will not be doing anything because of an illness. So I want to hear from you folks. Whats your favorite part of this funky holiday? Is it dressing up? Getting junk food? Share your thoughts please.. I asked this same thing on another forum, so I thought I would also ask here.. :p

Well here the kids have started picking up halloween in the last couple of years and go round trick-or-treating...personally I think it's a little silly as it's not a traditional event, but whatever pleases the kids... :)

I used to go Trick o' Treating when I was young, now I dont since I grew out of it. Now its either giving out candy treats to the kiddies or go to halloween parties.

Yes the kids do enjoy the hell out of it. And lots of adults do to. I live in a gated community and each year they throw a contest to see who decorates there houses the best. I dont do it, but many here do. Some go all out, Iam talking big time lol, its fun to see the kids faces when they think weather or not they really want that candy bad enough to walk up to a house where there is screaming and smoke and monsters all over the place lol, in the end most brave the trip up the side walk for that sweet treat..

At school we are having a "Safe Trick or Treat" for disabled children. They go from classroom to classroom and students give them candy. Each room has a different theme(has to be non-scary and child friendly.) Me and my friend, who are the drivers for our robotics team, are going to use our robot from a couple years back, put a basket onto its arm and use it to give out the candy.

Did the trick or treat thing when I was a kid, was more a fan of Devil's Night in my teens, egging/pumpkin smashing/blowing shit up...

Now I usually just put on my Priest costume, eat some 'shrooms and go party.
