Ah.. the pleasures of pulling your hammy..
About a year ago in our grand final soccer match I jumped up to head-butt the ball, I managed to get so much height off this the shoulders of an opposing player caught my thighs and flipped me. I came down with one leg out front, and the other on the side.
Ripped the muscle severely, and stretched it all the way down my right leg. I was out for about 12 weeks until it healed fully.
In the end we won the final, so it was kinda redeemed. ;)
But yea, that's my story, I feel your pain mate, you take care of that injury now and don't cause it too much problem. Stay out of trouble. =p
Ryette, I mean is the muscle visually displaced from it's joint, is there like a little shallow place on your leg where the muscle used to be connected? If so, you'll be bed-ridden for at least 1 month. I'd get crutches if I were you, a little more mobility.
