FlyingBarMitzvahAre you retarded, sir? A high percentage of the population IS Christian, those damn Chinese just throw off the scale.
Chinese are part of the (world) population too. ;) Don't forget all other religions and other believes (atheist etc.). Christians aren't a small part of these world but neither a very high either.
I've heard that Jesus, if he existed, was born sometime in September. Another bit of evidence that blows another huge hole in the Christian argument is that the shephards which some drunk angel heckled to, told in the Bible, would not for their life have been outside in December in what they had at the time (rags, basically) - they would have frozen.
Indeed there might have been a Jesus Christ (or a name close to it lost in translation) and he may or may not have done greet deeds or fortold prophecies of some sort which might or might not have been false. To actualy take every single word in the bible as a fact however is going "too far" since lots of people before and after him have done simular things.
I respect people who are Christian though personally I don't believe in this birthday or believe all descriptions said in the bible, I don't rule out some (small?) level of historic events in it though, we can't rule out that it's all made up though since there is no evidence these days around to prove or disprove that there was a Jesus Christ and that what he is said to have done actually happend.
This seems to have been turned into a flame war.
