ok for all of those experienced hardpointers out there, this is aimed at you, becuase i'm really wondering how many of you know this answer.

if you just started Hardpointing please do not take part, this will be benefical to you anyway.

if you answer the poll please elaborate.

Only through collateral damage, you can't get a weapons lock on a non-targetable system (as the name implies)

All systems are destroyed of course when the ship is.

You can also damage non targetable systems by using manual fire since you can then aim for any part of the ship.

Yup it is. The only exception is non targetable systems that have targetable sub-systems such as torps and phasers, you can target the main system by clicking on it, but the AI will always target one of the subsystems. When all subsystems are destroyed then the system is destroyed also.
