I made my own model for Bridge Commander and used another ships hardpoint file because I didn't want to type one up, and the phasers launch from way below where they are supposed to. I have gone into the hardpoint to try to change this, but all the command lines that I change to correct the defect don't do anything. Do I have to continue to pour through these files or is there simpler way to edit harpoints for custom models?

go into the hardpoints file of your ship and find the lines for each phaser: (Example)-VentralPhaser5a.SetPosition(0.343089, 1.243170, 0.123282) these are read- length, width, and height change the last number of the three of whatever phaser your fixing until it fires from where it should

Ummm......

okay that worked, but I have another problem. When I use my ship there are no textures on it and I have then set up right..... I think. This is a simple diplay of how they are set up:

ignore the "_" they're for spacing)

"Data"/"Models"/"Ships"/"Revenge"/"revnge.nif" _____________________________"High"/ all my textures

"scripts"/"ships"/"Revenge.py" ______________"Hardpoints"/"Revenge.py"

Is this set up right? Do you know why my textures aren't working?

Okay, so it should look like this:

"Data"/"Models"/"Ships"/"Revenge"/"revnge.nif" all my textures _____________________________"High"/ all my textures

"scripts"/"ships"/"Revenge.py" ______________"Hardpoints"/"Revenge.py"??
