Little split off from the "do you smoke" thread as it seems to be leaning more and more that way.

Have you ever taken drugs? Before any smartass says anything I mean things like pot, MDMA even coke.

Also what is your thought on drugs? It seems alot of people think that once you do drugs your life is ruined etc. but people who have done them or do them would argue differently.

Follow this 'template; to save some time.

Here is what I currently 'do': *pot *MDMA(parties etc) *methadrome.(parties etc.)

Here is what I have tried: *ketamin *ecstasy

DRUGS RUIN YOUR LIFE! IF YOU EVEN TRY THEM YOU ARE GOING TO END UP A HOMELESS CRIMINAL BASTARD WITH TWENTY ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN!

Now on a more serious note, I've done some drugs. MDMA was the first that I ever tried. Then pot. Then mushroom caramels (Not as gross as it sounds, as you can't even taste the mushroom part of it). Pretty much anything else I refuse to even try, especially if it involved needles.

Yes; a few here and there.

General view: if you like them do them; if you don't, don't :)

I haven't tried nor do I ever plan to try any illegal drugs, and frankly anyone who publicly admits to taking illegal drugs has injected a dose too many.

Granyaski;5568447 Also what is your thought on drugs? It seems alot of people think that once you do drugs your life is ruined etc. but people who have done them or do them would argue differently.

The way I see it they should ban tobacco and legalize weed, but with the amount of smokers it's not going to happen anytime soon. Do anything heavy, and you deserve what you get.

Some people survive heavier drugs with minor brain damage, but often the people who even try are the glue-sniffing type who never should touch as much as alcohol, and the results are easy to see. Generally speaking we'd be much better off as a society if anyone caught with heavy drugs would be put down on the spot, that way way less bikes and car stereos would be stolen and less people randomly attacked on the street or killed by drugged drivers. Sure, alcohol causes a lot more crime and violence since it is so much more widespread, but at least it is easier to avoid aggressive drunks. How can you tell a violent druggie apart at a distance? Hell, I didn't realize I was confronted by two until I saw their eyes a moment before they pulled a knife on me. This was in my parking lot around 8 o'clock when returning from work on a sunny summer morning. After getting away I decided never to take a job with that work environment anymore, but how do you suggest to avoid situations like that without killing all druggies?

Funny, I've never injected anything. Ingested, on the other hand...

Huffardo;5568503Do anything heavy, and you deserve what you get.
Judging from your post, I'm going to assume that 'anything heavy' is 'anything other than weed'.

Huffardo;5568503Some people survive heavier drugs with minor brain damage,
No brain damage here!
but often the people who even try are the glue-sniffing type who never should touch as much as alcohol

I think you have a serious misunderstanding of drugs and drug users.
Generally speaking we'd be much better off as a society if anyone caught with heavy drugs would be put down on the spot, that way way less bikes and car stereos would be stolen and less people randomly attacked on the street or killed by drugged drivers.

I've never stolen anything or injured anyone while under the influence of any drug or because of any drug, nor do I know a single person who has. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, though. It's just that from my experience, it doesn't happen as often as people say it does.

Now then... Since people who shoot other people are gun owners, I suppose we should "put down" all gun owners on the spot too! See someone drinking alcohol? Put them down also! Someone carrying a knife? Put them down! Yay! Let's "put down" everyone who has a connection to something that sometimes causes violence and/or death!
until I saw their eyes

Just out of curiosity, what was it about their eyes that makes you assume they were drug addicts? I can only assume that you were able to later confirm that those two were, in fact, under the influence of an illegal substance.

Of course not, drugs are evil, they must be otherwise the government wouldn't have made them illegal. I really think you should all just trust the government to know what's best for your lives.

Huffardo;5568503How can you tell a violent druggie apart at a distance?

You can't tell a violent person apart from an non-violent person at a distance. Not like that anyway. The drugs don't change anything in that regard.

Generally however the process, at least for the situations I've been in, goes something like: "That's close enough." And if they come closer you know it's go time.

Oh, that's right! Sorry, I forgot that the government knows best!

It's fairly easy to tell if someone is under the influence of drugs if you know what to look for... So if drug users are glue-sniffing violent criminals, they should be fairly easy to spot.

I will always refuse anything to do with needles and will never try heroin or anything like that ever. With most drugs I am more curious than anything, like when I tried ketamin and ecstasy. It was more...I wonder what that is like. Had it, liked Ketamin (not the calm though) didn't like E don't do them. Simple as. Ketamin is a bit too strong for my liking you see.

I agree and disagree at certain parts here.

Tobacco is worse than weed agreed, hell even alcohol is. The one thing is the 'heavy' part. I completely agree that if you fuck up your life because of drugs that is your fault but the way you say it implies (to me) that you do hard drugs you don't come back and I can tell you that isn't true. Coke is a big thing in the UK at the moment, government statistics shows it is the most common drug in the UK. Even in my small town there are a few dealers. I know people who have done it, some very close to me but they are not hooked and their lives aren't fucked up. I'm not just talking about people around my age either. A couple of them are very successful. They are married and are doing very well in life. They have done cocaine but never done it routinely and they sure as hell are not addicted.

if anyone caught with heavy drugs would be put down on the spot, that way way less bikes and car stereos would be stolen and less people randomly attacked on the street or killed by drugged drivers.

I understand from your experience you have a bad view of people on hard drugs but you seem to be generalising them.

One thing doing drugs has taught me is the government make them much worse than they sound and it is easy to buy into their veiws and the other is that everyone is different. Somebody could be an A* student and do coke and their life wouldn't fall apart. It relies on the person how far they take it, whether or not they allow themselves to get addicted and if they do, do the drug more.

Drug users need to be eliminated and disposed of, in order to protect their health.

^umm......I don't really see how killing people will protect their health =p

Me personally, I don't like drugs, I've only ever done demerol but that was a prescription for my wisdom teeth extraction, and I really don't like the effect.

But anyways, it's your life, but please do the decent thing and just use them in your own home, please don't go walking the streets or driving a car.
