I'd say that's a health hazard.

Black mold = Toxic.

It's been there for three years, I've been there for one year. Been reported, still nothing.

Isn't it a sexy colony, though?

Looks like a little pet, the way it sits up in its corner.

Yes and no. I work IN a high school, but that's actually my office.

Others have tried. It's been there for 3 years or so. It's been reported by the previous web engineers who've worked in that office. I've been there for a little over a year now. My first three or so months I had a headache every day.

I told my supervisor (who works in a different building) about it and he said he's look into it. Oh how I love office politics.

I'm considering forwarding that letter to OSHA, CDC and the department of labor.

Sexy life, isn't it?

I would get him to come and actually look at it. Tell him its a serious health hazard and needs to be taken care of right away. Have you told him its giving you headaches? Or if its possible, tell your supervisors boss about it. Maybe if you went one step above him they might take notice?

Once you get sick sue them.

Get a settlement and then they'll fix it.

Just take that ceiling tile out. Our lab at college had loads of tiles missing, so provided your building isn't made out of 90% asbestos or something there won't be a problem.

At the end of the day, if you want something done properly, you've got to do it yourself.

It's out of my scope of authority to do anything further than I already have done. :(
