Is there any worth in high school relationships? I mean it's just as somebody on these forums mentioned earlier, it's not likely that someone find their "life-long sweetheart" in school. And there's also the fact that it's just so easy to break up when even the slightest thing goes wrong within a relationship. Most couples don't even try to get along or actually work things out. They just have to choose the easy path out. If it is so easy to just get out of it, then what value did it have in the first place? Something only has it's worth in the hard work required to create/maintain it. At least that's what I believe. I mean, Why are Lamborghinis so expensive? It's because it takes ingenuity and skill to make one (hence the high price which is equivalent to value). Why do you protect something you bought for a lot of money so dearly? It's because you worked hard to make that money to buy that expensive thing. At least I think you should. More or less what I've observed is that whenever people don't guard their belongings as such it is because it was a freeby or they just have so much money that it's value is negligible to them. Hence, I currently believe that there is no worth in such relationships as the ones in it do not try even the least bit to maintain it. Well anyhow, I'd like to know what is everybody elses opinion on it. NOTE I'm not trying to offend anyone especially someone who has such a relationship and it is actually going exceptionally well. I'm just making an argument based on the observations I've made, so I suppose it is only suffice to say that it an incomplete argument and should not be taken far too seriously. Well not an argument. A discussion to get more knowledge about something might be better terminology...

Sex. That's what high school is all about.

Are you serious? I mean really are you serious? I mean maybe in some places but others you just can't no matter how much you want to. Do you have any other reason or justification for these things other than sex? At least for the areas where it just can't be done for some reason or another or when people supposedly "claim" that they actually love each other or some other BS.

I stayed away from relationships of any kind until university, but I have a couple of friends that have stayed with girls that they met in high school for years. Really, it depends on the people. And besides, you can't decide when or how you fall for someone. Just gotta hope that when it does happen, it's a healthy, mature relationship. THAT can happen at any age.

High school relationships are the test drives of your "game", so you can figure your shit out for when you get out to the real world and then you must deal with variables that do not exist in high school. (i. e. gold diggas).

But I cant very much talk, I met my wife during my senior year, altho we went to different high schools....does that count as a "high school relationship"? It was during the high school years but it wasnt one of those "we have 3 classes together, lets go on a date"

Well, frankly I have to disagree with the two of you. I've seen several married couples that had no prior experience with such relationships and are married and pretty happy. I think my parents count as one of them. I've asked them about this quite a few times and they don't seem to be discontent. I could be wrong I suppose as there is always a difference between what is seen and what is real but I have no better leads so I'm just gonna go with what I have. @Nitestryker, that definitely counts as a high school relationship. At least in my book. I find it surprising. No offence, but I do. Just haven't been exposed to such a culture for a long time until just recently and I had to ask. Again, I mean no offence.

"Bitches ain't shit, bitches ain't shit Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks Lick on these nuts and suck the dick Lets get the fuck out after you're done And I hops in my ride to make a quick run... I used to know a bitch named Eric Wright We used to roll around and fuck the hoes at night Tighter than a mutharfuckin' gangsta beats And we was ballin' on the muthafuckin' Compton streets

Peep that shit, got deep and it was on Number one song after number one song Long as my muthafuckin' pockets was fat I didn't give a fuck where the bitch was at

I once had a bitch named Mandy May Used to be up in them guts like everyday"

That, my son, is all you need.

Everyday, I think to myself, where would we be without Aegenemmnon? And this, I suppose, gives me a clue at the answer.
