FROM DR. SAM BAKO. HELLO. I MAKE THIS APPEAL WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT ANY FACTS OR OPINION EXPRESSED BY ME ARE GIVING IN CONFIDENCE AND SOLELY FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND USE.I am DR. SAM BAKO,THE DIRECTOR IN CHARGE OF AUDITING AND ACCOUNTING SECTION OF BANK OF AFRICA.OUAGADOUGOU BURKINA FASO. IN WEST AFRICA.. This message might meet you in unmost surprise however,it's just my urgent need for foreign partner that made me contact you for this transaction I am a banker by profession from BURKINA-FASO in west Africa and currently holding the post of Secreetary Foreign Remmittance Director in our bank OUAGADOU-BURKINA-FASO office. In my department I discovered an abandoned sum of US$12.5M,( US Dollars) with account number 14-2558-5976 that belongs to one of our foreign customers who died along with his wife and only daughter in a plane crash of Alaska Airlines Flight number 261 which crashed on , 2000. You shall read more about the crash on visiting this site http://www.cnn.com/2000/US/02/01/alaska.airlines.list/The owner of this account is Mr. Morris Thompson an American and great industrialist and a resident of Alaska. The banking law and guidelines here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after SIX years, the money will be transfered into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The money has now stayed more than three years and I am preparing documentaion to prove this money transfered to our bank treasury. This request of foreigner as next of kin in this transaction is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and a Burkinabé cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner. In appreciation of your assistance, I am offering you 30% of the total sum. 5% for contingencies (cost of transfer/other charges) likely to be incurred during the course of transaction, while the remaining 65% is for me.Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text of the application which you will complete and forward to our bank asking for this money to be paid to you as the next of kin to Mr;Morris Thomson. I will not fail to bring to your notice that this transaction is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any fear as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer. You should contact me immediately as soon as you receive this mail through the above email. TRUST AND CONFIDENCE. I need to emphasise on the need for trust and confidence on both side as the pillar for the success of this business. you need to reassure me that you will not betray me and sit on this fund when it finally comes into your custody.Forward to me you followings informations:

1.Home and office address. 2.personal/private phone number.

If i receive all these, i will have confidence in you that you will not cheat me and then i will send you the form which you will fill and send to the bank.

I want to assure you that the transaction is without risk if due process is followed accordingly Finally.

I will give you 30% for your corporation I look forward to a favorable response from you through. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER MY URGENT REQUEST. Yours Faithfully, Dr Sam Bako. DIRECTOR IN CHARGE OF AUDITING AND ACCOUNTING SECTION OF BANK OF AFRICA.OUAGADOUGOU BURKINA FASO. IN WEST AFRICA

Eagerly waiting for your response.

I will give you 30% for your corporation

Sorry, it'll take a lot more than that to get ownership of my corporation.

Heh, I've been getting a bunch of these emails, all from different names and such, but same general concept. So fucking retarded.

You didn't jump at the chance for free money?!? You idiot. I want in. I WANT IN. Who did you get this from?

/me pants, squirms around the floor, and ends up having a seizure.

Really, though, I wonder how many people have actually fallen for it?

Even if you bought the whole story, all the typos (And the non-exsisitant CNN page) would have told you something was up. A professional would at least spell check his e-mail if it was worth anything. The funny thing is people buy this everyday (Even my own dad went online and gave away personel information, knowing it was probley a bad idea. But he wanted to see if he would get his free RAZOR and what would happen. All we got was alot of magazeines, phone calls, and credit cards. No RAZOR and it has been 2 months or so).
