I am very glad to see some hockey fans here... ( the best sport).....I want to ask u guys who do u think was the best Goalie ever to play...... being an avalanche fan i have to say ... of course patrick roy ( but my friend thinks nabokov is better.... yeah right...) so who do u think?
I agree Roy was the best goalie of all time but I think A canadian named roberto luongo is the best goalie in the NHL right now he may take over roy if he keeps playing at the rate he does now
i like the Leafs they own.
ya but what goalie do you like
well being english i dont know much about hockey lol,but when i was in Canada i saw the leafs and they owned so i'd say the leafs goalie :)
Ed Belfour? yes he is a skilled goalie but hes getting old.......
I was a big fan of Patrick Roy, especially way back when he was playing for the Habs. I would say that Martin Brodeur is one of the best Goalies. Roberto Luongo did a very good job for team Canada in this years Worldchampionship, and so did Ty Conklin for team USA. I also have to name Dominik Hasek. I know him from his very big times in the late 90's, when he was impregnable. And last but not least, "Olie the Goalie" Olaf Kölzig, because he plays for team Germany ;)
I'm a huge Ottawa Senators fan, I'm going to say Patrick Lalime, he wasn't all that great this season, but in last year's playoffs he tied the record for playoff shutouts. Other than him I would say Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, or Jacques Plantes (oldschool '60s goalie).
If you would have asked me a few years ago, I would have said Felix "the Cat" Potvin. But after seeing Miikka Kiprusoff dominate against Detroit and he's only 27, I think he has a bright future ahead of him.
Roy is amaxing but I ahve to say.....Broduer
