*Grabs pompoms* Go Hornets! Go Hornets! Go Hornets! Go Hornets! Gimme an H! H! Gimme a Q! Q! Gimme an R! R! Gimme a Z! Z! Gimme an N! N! Gimme an A! A! Gimme a T! T! What do you have?!?! HQRZNAT! Wait, what...? I hate bees. One time when I was young, I was sitting out in the garden, my legs up, and this bee came along. Now, I had always been told that bees don't bother you if you don't bother them, so I just watched it. I was understandably nervous when it landed on my foot. And when it stung me for no reason and flew away I was understandably pissed. From that day on, it has been my personal mission to erradicate bees from the planet...

Obviously it was not a bee if it proceeded to sting you and fly away.

Didn't leave its sting in. Which made it all worse. It survived, I hurt. I think it was drunk.

My friend and I were drinking pop outside in the summer once and a bee went in his pop and he drank it lol. But it didn't hurt him.

Only honeybees (either the European or African: killer bees are a mix of the two) leave their stingers behind. All other bees, like the bumble bee, don't.

Funny story: I disturbed a nest of yellow jackets once, they had taken up resitence in an old ant colony who's entrence was on a trail. I got stung on the foot and on my right hand. Funny thing is that the one that stung my hand kinda got stuck. He was buzzing like crazy, trying to get his stinger out of me. What did I do? I helped him get out, and I didn't kill him. I just gave him a gentle nudge forward. Yea, it hurt, but for some strange reason I like the kinds of stuff most people find revolting, like insects, arachnids, sharks and reptiles more than most of the 'cuddly' animals.
