Well, back in the days of MOH: Allied Assualt I stumbled upon mohaafiles.com when I saw the link on a TV show. I joined as tHe_One_2004 (yeah, stupid). After the announcement of BFV I regularaly was using bfvfiles.com. Then saw the links to the forums. For a few weeks probably, I was just a guest reading other people stuff. I then joined with the release of BFV and posted at noob rates to get me post count up. I was over the moon when I got the 100 post count mark!!! Then I became a member of staff for www.bfvfiles.com as an interviewer for mods. The staff knew me there as the guy that got really pissed off when people made stupid comments in the POTD. Then I ditched that job quickly to secure myself a job at bf2files as a news and files poster. Bla bla bla bla bla. After a while I used the pub and general a lot more as I was becoming an actual human. Then I had a personal problem with the whole network in general and reluctentely quit my bf2files post. I couldn't devote much time to it anyway. But it was a good whole year of voluntary service that I enjoyed. Now, I am still reguarly using FN with bf2files, codfiles, and hl2files in my favorites :) For the future, I will probably still be using GF at the rate I do now and maybe FN even more since it will soon be time for some wack mods to arrive! So how did you guys come to this whole network? Or maybe just the forums?

I simply googled "Battlefield 1942 patches" and I was most satisfied with www.bf1942files.com I signed up on there sometime in 2003, then waited a couple months, and joined the forums because I noticed that I could help out with a lot of the n00bish questions. I stayed in the BF1942 forums for my first couple months.
I started by learning of EF files then Armada 2 files and then the forums. but my old account was deleated so i made this one. The good old days are long gone AzH, Gizmo, Crash most of them have left, it's sad.
I somehowed followed someone or this came up. hard to rememeber.
Well first i found C&C files from a reccomendation by a player on C&C generals. I joined up and found they had a BFV site as well. I lurked around the sites, downloaded files, read the news and commented on the POTD's. At the same time I began lurking around the C&C modding threads reading as a guest. I eventaully grew the balls to join the fourm and began posting in the C&C and BFV forums. Irember beef flaps as one of the first people I met. I was quick to go out of the BF and C&C fourms, by the end of april I was posting everywhere. Now I am here...
I loved the good ol' days. Almost got banned for fighing with AzH and making about 5 accounts because I changed my password and forgot it:p

Oh yeah, I remember you Pethe ;) We had some good conversations and arguments about BFV :) Good ol' times a.
its kind of a long story. For about 3 years, I had lost primary interest in computers, then Doom 3 came out and i was a hardcore Doom 1 & 2 fan back in the day, with my Pentium 120 and 16 megs of ram, with a 2 meg video card. I also started to rediscover gaming in general. one day i just typed in gamingforums.com in the address bar, and well, here i am.
Well, I came here through MOHFiles, as I asked a mod request, something about taking MP skins and putting them into SP. I might add that my post was not "n00b speech", it was actually well worded. :P Somehow I ended up hanging out in the Doom 3 Forums for a few months, then finally noticed the top part of the forum, the General Chit-Chat area.

 Guess you got lucky! I wonder how many other people did this...
I joined to post something in the Forgotten Hope forums after reading there for quite a while. I stayed there for a rather long time before I found out that there is a bit more to GF than just the FH forums :)
