Pretty straight forward question, how did you spend your Xmas eve? Me, I got drunk. Very drunk! Was working Christmas eve until 1pm (usually we'd finish at 3:45pm, but as it was Xmas eve, we finished at 1pm). Anyway, it was mentioned earlier on in the week that a fair few people were going to one of the pubs in town for a 'social' drink. Turns out my social drink, turned me into an over-social drunk. My plan was to leave the pub at 5pm, as my brother finished work then, thus I could get a lift home. Arrived at the pub around 1:15pm, started drinking about 1:30pm. Between 1:30pm and 4pm / 4:30pm consisted of heavy drinking on my part. After roughly three hours of drinking, and approximately 15 odd drinks, I wasn't feeling so good. Ironically, I wasn't really mixing my drinks either, just had a few too many, too quickly. Must have been around 4pm / 4:30pm, I went outside to throw up (whether I did or not, I don't actually remember). I remember being really light-headed, and couldn't focus on anything for shit. But yeah, went outside to puke, I remember at some point, some colleges said I best get home, I was bundled into a car (who's car, I'm not too sure about), driven home, with a single stop on the way, so that I could spew. I don't actually remember the drive, though I do remember the stop, I also remember stopping outside my house, though don't remember getting out the car, nor do I remember walking up to the front door (where I sat for about half an hour, spewing even more, with my parents and brother checking on me occasionally). There was a point before my brother got home too, with him ringing me to find out where I was (him waiting at the pub car park) only for me trying to tell him I was already home. From there, and when I stopped puking up, I got myself inside, and practically went straight to bed. That was about 9pm. Woke up this morning, slight headache, still a bit dizzy, and felt very empty (probably because my meals of the previous day were outside on the floor). And this is the first time I've actually been FUCKED due to alcohol. In addition, its the first time I've been sick due to alcohol too. I see both the positive and negative sides of the occasion. I know what it is like (those parts I remember), though felt like shit for some of it. I'm one of those people that likes to have control of themselves, and the fact that I didn't wasn't too good with me. I didn't like it. The fact that I got into a car, and I wasn't sure of the driver says enough to me. I said to myself yesterday that I wouldn't get in this state again, but I can't say it wont happen, especially with new years eve coming up all too soon. When I did wake up this morning, my glasses were bent (and scratched), and I'd lost one of my coats (probably still at the pub). An eventful evening if nothing else, though I can guarentee I'll get stick when I go back to work in '09. So yeah, thats my story for last night. Please feel free to share all of yours.

Still Christmas over there? Must be. It's the 26th over here now. Anyhow, nothing. But I don't really care. I just spent a bit of time on Xmas going around wishing people Merry Christmas.

I was lurking around here, helping someone with a game problem and chatting with people on MSN. I went to bed 30 minutes after midnight since I'm forced to get up early every frakin' day (yes, even on holidays), so I couldn't afford to lose too much sleep.

Here in Scandinavia, we open them on Christmas Eve. Usually after dinner. Christmas morning people are usually too tired to even bother with presents.

I spent it with my family in the other end of town. Opened presents, great dinner, etc.
