Cambo. I'd love to give you karma because you asked. But I don't think that's exactly how you earn a good reputation... by ASKING for one :uhm:

"asking for reputation points is viewed upon with disapproval." here is the complete guide to karma:

the FAQ What does reputation mean? The reputation system is also known as karma. This is a way for members to show their approval or disapproval of one of your posts or your general behaviour on Gaming Forums. The reputation level of any user can is represented by the little dots displayed next to the user’s post count. There are two kinds of reputation, the good and the bad. The reputation_pos.gif symbolises good reputation whereas the reputation_neg.gif symbolises bad reputation. The number of dots denotes how high or low the user’s reputation level is. Each level of reputation is associated with a message. This message can be viewed when holding your mouse over the reputation dots and changes when the user reaches a new level. If you do not want to have your reputation made public, go to your 'User Control Panel' and find the link labelled 'Edit Options' found under 'Settings & Options' or simply click here. Here you can un-tick the box labelled 'Show My Reputation Level'. Here you can also see your precise number of reputation points. If you disable this option, your reputation dots will be replaced with a single reputation_off.gif. On the main page of your 'User Control Panel', you can see the latest reputation points you have received, the time and date you received them, the post you have received them from and a comment made by the person who added to your reputation. Only Advanced Members and members of the staff have the ability to see who added to their reputation. Next to the individual reputation post you can see what kind of reputation you have received. reputation_pos.gif symbolises good reputation, reputation_neg.gif symbolises bad reputation and reputation_balance.gif symbolises that the user who tried to add to your reputation in any way didn’t have enough giving power to affect your reputation level. You reputation power depends on several factors:

You must have at least 300 posts before you can give reputation to another member. You must have at least 50 reputation points before you can give reputation to other members. Your reputation power is increased by one for every 180 days you have been registered. Your reputation power is increased by one for every 1000 posts you have made.

Your reputation power is increased by one for every 200 reputation points you have received.

If you wish to add to the reputation of a user, find the post you like or dislike and click on the icon found in the top right corner of the post. This reputation.gif will open a pop-up where you can choose what kind of reputation you want to add and where you have the option of writing a message to the user. Since the system is meant to be a reward, you should only give out reputation points when it is truly earned. Furthermore, asking for reputation points is viewed upon with disapproval.
