Kept your new year resolution? Got a new partner? New job?

How has 2012 taken off for you?

Been good so far, learned a lot, earned some money, got some financial planing I should have taken care of years ago done. And not to mention for whatever reason I've been making friends like crazy lately. I did start using a different perfume, maybe that's it XD

Or maybe it's because you earned some money :p

So far I've got 3 auditions (out of 4 applications) for drama schools, The first one being at the end of this month, so that's a bit of a panic to get something prepared. I never bother with New Year's resolutions; if I was going to change something about my life, it being a new year is pretty irrelevant.

I haven't met my resolution's success as of yet, which is to lose a tad amount of weight (I'm not that heavy, 93 kilograms at a length of 1.89 meters), but I'm sure that'll come soon enough. I just have to make sure to renew my subscription to Body-Business.

Having said that, I also am slowly working on a relationship. This time it's a he (23 years old, I'm 19). A person I can really talk with unlike anything I've ever experienced before. And a plus, his body is magnificent!

As in regards to school, it's going better than I expected, considering I messed up my internship whilst it wasn't my fault. I've nearly finished the course of programming for this semester, and only a few things remain such as finishing/rounding up Cisco and ITIL.

This would be true, but I've kept it very hush hush in real life.

That and I have been eating much better lately. Haven't had any weight fluctuation, so that's a good thing. Although I have seen my classmates observing my lunches, maybe I should start a lunch business and have them pay me to make them balanced lunches XD $10 for the MWF blocks for one week doesn't sound unreasonable. approximately $3.30 per day, less expensive than the cafeteria and fast food! :P

January was, apart from my birthday, not particularly exceptional, but february has so far been good and bad for me.

Good: - I got a job, finally in the branch I graduated in

Bad: - This morning my car died (no it's not a typo, I really said 'car'). Have the thing 5 years now and it never died on me before... Had to go to work by bike... froze my ass off... Today sucked donkey kong.

I had no newyears resolutions because (I know I will never be able to reach them, and) overall I'm pretty content with whatever I have... I'm not in poverty, I'm healthy, I'm not under/overweight so...

Granyaski;5608418Kept your new year resolution?
I didn't have many new year resolutions, but one of the big ones was to seriously get into shape. We're a month in, and thus far, that has not happened. I just haven't got the motivation or knowledge to go about it.
Granyaski;5608418Got a new partner?
I'd have to get a first partner before I even thought about getting a new partner.

Granyaski;5608418New job?
I can't do anything with my careerer (as much as I want too) until mid-year.

Granyaski;5608418 How has 2012 taken off for you?
It hasn't. For the moment, 2012 is exactly how 2011 was. The only difference is that I'm getting older.

Good for you also. :)

I can somewhat sympathise with this, though I'm sure you'll get there eventually. :nodding:

I don't know where you live, but I had to cycle to work in -9 the other day. That was cold too. Even got through my gloves. :(

Sounds like you've got it just where you want it. :)

Quite busy for me. Loads of school, and actually have been prepping for the ACT/SAT for a change... Overall, solemn but good I suppose... New years resolutions? Get in shape, treat life like I did last year... First one has been in a way put off due to lack of time (or poor use of time?), but I think it's gonna happen.

Sounds like everyone is doing alright, good on y'all. Didn't expect DK to be an actor or a performer though...didn't expect anyone on here to be a performer tbh.

Aww Totes man whats up?

My years going good overall, especially seeing as 2011 is now officially the worst year EVER.

Got myself an apprenticeship but reluctantly gave it up as the boss made it clear to me and the other 2 guys on the job that he didn't really want to train us-more just use us as cheap labour so I returned to my job as at a health food shop. Looking for another apprenticeship.

Relationship things are going...okay. Been seeing 3 girls. One of them has just stopped texting and calling me and the other one I told the other day that I was more into somebody else. That made me feel bad. Problem now whcih is TYPICAL for me is the girl I am actually starting to like is an emotionally dead wall of dead emotions. Got to crack it .
