There was an animal called the Steller's Sea Cow. That was basically a giant relative of the Manatee and the Dugong but it was slow and gentle and was hunted to extinction in the 1700s. There is an animal today called the Steller's Sea Eagle. It's basically a giant fish eagle living in Russia's East coast as well as Japan's Northern coast. So, both have Steller's in their name. But who is Steller? (too lazy to Google it) And let's hope the Steller's Sea Eagle doesn't go the way of the Sea Cow....
