Hi, Im currently making a hardpoint mod for my P81 soverign. I decided to add ATP2 features to it. The original hardpoint in made by the pelican.

Up to now ive added: Multi-vectoral Shielding. This works fine. Immunity to breen energy drainer. This also works fine. Ablative Armour. Ive also improved the warpcores power output slightly.

Now my problem is the ablative armour. No matter what i set it to, it seems to be too strong. Using the armour values out of elminsters uss defaint ot soverign update, and the armour seems too strong. I can beat a MPNegvhar without shield quite easyly. What should i have it set to?

bty, i submitted a version of my mod to bcfiles a few nights ago, with the armour propeties at, max condition=9000 repair complexity =2.0

after extensive testing, this seems to strong. So i tryed: max condidtion =10,000 repair complexity =10.0 So the armour will last longer, but will regenerate slowly. This also seems OTT.

What do you guys think i should set it to?

I Think ive got it. I changed the things like set position and other stuff, the max condition to 20,000 and the repair complexity to 20.00 so it doesnt repair much. And after a bit of playing it seems to be well balanced.

What do you think then? Shall i now release a v2. Does someone want to beta test it for me before i release it? Please.

Well the general rule I use is to set the armour to about a third of the hull value, with a repair rate of 5 (on my later hp's anyway)

That usually works ok for me.
