This morning i decided that the ciggerette i was smoking was to be my last, i have finally made the decision to quit. After over a year and a half of tell myself that i would quit when i was older i have made the first step. I gave the cigerettes that I had left to a friend who still wishes to smoke, as he was going to go buy some anyway. I will keep you updated guys day by day, to see if my willpower is as strong as i think it is. To be honest at the moment i feel fine, sure I would like a cigerette....but in other ways I dont. Good Things from Stopping Smoking

You've quit at roughly the same age I did, after smoking roughly the same amount of time.

The best way to do it is just to cold turkey it out of your system. It's worth it, trust me.

Oh and well done.

Well way to go man but I have to say that it sucks you can't smoke in pubs anymore. I mean that's what pubs are for smoking and drinking. Anyway way to go and keep that will power up.

Congratulations, every cigarette you don't smoke is an important step. I never did smoke regularly, only when I'm really drunk. It was too disgusting otherwise.

Thank God, my grandfather smoked and he did not die well. (hints towards horrible side effects of smoking for some people)

That happened to my grandfather as well, he had to have fresh air from a canister for half of his life. Well, I hope you make it. GO AWAY:smokin:
