Frieden;4584541I clicked because I thought that maybe, just maybe somebody else in this cruel world understood what I have gone through! :bawl:
I noticed this thread because of the title, and I'm not gonna lie, I didn't care too much at first. Then I hovered my mouse a few days later and saw the "misleading title" in the preview.
I've read similar titles and the stories have been......interesting so that's why i have clicked on the title
Nemmerle;4579342'I was raped,' really now; with a poll icon besides the thread title? ;)
Aye I thought the same thing which is why I looked.
seriously what the fuck. FFF has become this? :uhm:
Disgusting, why hasnt this thread being closed already.
because the purpose of this thread was to see how many people look a thread purely because of the title.

Ensign Riles;4579223Of the 25 threads displayed in New Posts, the title "I was raped" had the most potential for causing trouble, and thus received priority over other threads like "Weather".
The quick text helped diffuse the situation pretty quickly. I would have gotten to this thread anyway since I follow most every thread made in the General Chit Chat forums.
As my brother he said. Oh nd I also look at the thread poster and the forum it was placed in. I usually lurk around using the "new posts" button which lists all recent posts. If I see a thread title "I r bored!111" and the forum listed is the General Discussion or Pub I will check it out since it may need to be moved to spam. If it's in spam already then no alarm bells will sound.
Thread titles are probably the first thing to look at, followed by the forum it's in and then the author.
I look at almost every thread in the GD, Pub, spam forum, staff forums, FH forums etc. though. But I did spotted your thread last week by it's thread title when I was searching the forums (via "new posts"). The poll doesn't feature an olptin to vote for "The thread title made me prioritize looking at this thread but I look at nearly all threads here". =p The poll would hae been an obvious hint that this might not have been about rape but when I noticed this thread it was only 5 seconds old and no poll was added yey (yes I may hit "new posts" button quite frequently if I don't have anything better to do then being on the look out for new posts to reply to or take action upon as a member of staff).
I knew the thread was a lie b/c it was written by YOU!
Why I came? To join in on the confusion of misrepresentation.
