Welcome nanotechnology and true immortality. If you live another 10-15 yrs chances are you won't die at all.

But would you want to live forever? That is the big question. Eventually, you'd get extremely bored, and (even with all this technology) you'd probably die of boredom.

Archmage Cleps;3569456It's not wrong to fear death, just as it is not wrong to fear anything. However, how you react to it determines what type of person you are.

Well, sometimes. If you get hit by a massive 18-wheeler going at 50mph, however...

I don't mean the way in which people are killed or die, but rather the moments after their brain stops functioning and their heart stops beating.

We weren't on the cusp of a nanotechnological revolution decades ago. Don't take my word on it; read it for yourselves.

man longtime since a thread like this came up :P

well, what do i belive? I belive that when you die, you keep living, like.. a loop, a bit like a clone in a way, except that you kinda remember stuff, ya know, like when you have De-ja-vu thing? you wont know you died, you wont remember anythign except for sertain stuff..

oooh, about cloning, if you clone yourself, you wouldnt be that clone, the clone would be you. you dont live. it will.

i beleive in heaven. however cliche it might be i wan t to beleive that my life has meaning and that i dont just spend 5grand on a casket and spend eternity in it. but i guess what it comes down to is that in the end one of us is going to be right and the other one is going to be very surprised. and if anyone wants a reason go here and read this it might kae you think twice before saying there is no God.
