There's a catch though: limit of 1,000 of whatever your local currency is. ;)

I would get a GTX 1080, and possibly a new case for my PC.

I have been planning to buy a new guitar anyway, so that.

If only the guitar I have on Craigslist would sell already, so I would have the money to buy that new guitar.

Hmm, well, I just got myself a new camera.

:/

There's not a lot I want, in all honesty. I tend to buy A) high quality and B) rarely.

I guess new computer bits are always nice. Maybe an ultra-wide-screen monitor. Replace or supplement the two normal ones I've got at the moment...

I assume this "1,000 of whatever your local currency is" rule only applies to First World.

I know in Russia's case 1,000 Rubles is only £12. Good luck shopping with only £12.

We could say $1,000 equivalent, then.

Vacation in some nice place I haven't been before probably. I don't feel like I urgently need that or anything else, but I rarely regret spending money on travels.

More energy/better health would be fantastic. But that's  not really something money can  buy in one go, so I am not really sure what I'd go for at this point in time. There's lots of things I'd like down the  road, but for now, I've already got everything I'd actively use. Maybe a 3d printer. Or a GTX1080. MrFancypants' vacation sounds pretty appealing  too.

A new A.C system. The rest I would use on Booze and whores since I can't do drugs no more. (Sheriff Duterte doesn't like that)

There aren't much materialistic things that I desire. Not something that can be bought for up to 1.000,- €/£/$ anyway. Truth be told that I'd rather own a house and pay the same amount I do right now in rent as mortgage instead. But the banks will have none of that. For a montly mortgage the same as what I pay in rent right now I'd need to earn a fair bit more wage.

I already got a vacation/trip spent to the land of smiles, which costs around 700 euro's for a return flight in economy class. If a n other person would love to buy me a gift I wouldn't mind an upgrade to business class just to experience that once. But I'd also be happy with a return ticket to a nice holiday location anywhere in the world. Like FP says, trips and travels usually give you some nice memories to remember fondly.

What you pay for your house all depends on where you live.

For example, look at London. The monthly rent you pay for a small 2-bedroom flat in the vicinity of Canary Wharf is the same you would pay for a full house mortgage out in the highlands.
