Who is right you or them, who are you . Who is right to decide. The world or you? Did you ever talk with family , or people that do know you , but not as well as they might? You talk with them, and then wonder who you are outside of your own head. How do people see you, "what do they think about me ?"

Have you ever been shocked before to hear things about you from close friends, or people ? Things that you did not know were true about you, or that is how others view you?

If other's don't know you and do not indicate who you are as a person, individual , amongst other individuals , if you are not segegrated per say , tested as an individual do you know yourself as well as you think you do ?

Can anyone precisely know their selves well? When its up to the rest of the world to continuously learn from your actions, and you just do them for your own motives and reasons, do you really know yourself well. Does your bias of yourself rape your real image that others see?

Who is right you or them, who are you . Who is right to decide. The world or you?

I have chosen "Yes". Here is why.

If others do not know you well, then you have not been through many "trials" that will let you know who you are.

You decide who you want to be, regardless of the world. The world wants you to serve them, and buy lots of useless junk. Beyond that, who knows. Most people don't even know what they really want, aside from whatever they see.

Your bias of yourself may blind you, from seeing what others see. You see the whole picture, they don't. People only see what they see. That is what you allow them to see.

It is because of this that we each form "public images" of ourselves. Habits, and "attitudes" that we want others to notice, and judge us on. This is your "Reputation", and it may be among the most important things you can have.

The better your reputation, the more doors that will be opened for you. If you achieve a Presidency of a large group, such as "The Unites States of America", who is going to ignore the President? What if the President wanted to come into your house? Would you refuse him?

Yet if you were the president of a less than "proper" group, such as a gang. Well, then you will probably attract a lot of law enforcement, and closed doors. People will lock their doors, the moment they see you coming.

As far who is right? That depends on how well you know yourself. You have a better chance of being right about who you are. And yes, a person CAN know themselves. It is not a matter of "knowing", but of "controlling". You can be who you want to be, you just have to make an effort to become that person. To mold yourself. To do that, you must want to do that.

In essence, you are who you want to be. If you didn't want to be who you are, you would change.

Guess what Brian?

I understood this time. :p

However, Monster placed my thoughts into place much better than I possibly could.

You should get your own sub-forum.

I simply chose NO, because...

It matter not what others think, but what matters most is how you see yourself...

Actually, the simple things that are deep, are often the brilliant of things in life.

Nice post, I will consider it.

It matters most, if nothing or nobody else really matter at all...

There is the other side of the concept, in a unique perspective. Three people seem to get the thread. Well I nod to the next one. Thanks for the replies, very interesting reads for myself.

Thank you.
