Survivors Sought as Death Toll Climbs Tuesday, July 18, 2006 PANGANDARAN, Indonesia — Corpses were recovered Tuesday from beaches, homes and hotels ravaged by Indonesia 's second tsunami in as many years, pushing the death toll to at least 341. Nearly 230 people were missing.

Luckily this time it was alot smaller. Too bad they still didn't have those tsunami warning sirens installed...

Aww, you beat me to the story.

I did catch this though: 2 tsunami warning buoys in the Indian Ocean failed, leaving the affected unprepared for the tsunami. At the time, they had none working and are short on funds needed to create the warning system they want in place.
