A more negative outlook is relatively normal. At least, it was for me. More and more things just seemed like they were going wrong and would never improve. I can't really speak on behalf of the entire gender, but I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

It's due to you paying more attention to the news, and being able to understand what's actually happening out there. Before, you were all happy happy joy joy, and now you actually know some of the sick and disturbed things happening out there. It goes gradually, but it happens.

I reckon I'm different here, then. While I certainly lack faith in humanity, it's mostly because of my own self-proclaimed superiority. As for news, I disagree. I mean, I've never cared for news, and I don't care to anything that doesn't impact my way of life directly or indirectly. Sure, while being apathetic doesn't do much good if you feel like changing the world through politics, I simply don't care about politics. As long as I can do the exact thing I intend on doing, which can't exactly be affected by politics, then I don't care about what happens in the world. In fact, why should I care about others? Will they do better if I feel sorry for some random human whose luck ran out? I never understood the concept of feeling sorry for people. No, I'm not a big monster, and no, I can't empathize with people - even friends. However, I can sympathize out of respect to the people and because I know I would be considered a sociopath if I did not sympathize, however trivial I may feel it is.

But, yeah, no faith in humanity just means you've seen the light. As for giving up on life - just don't. I mean, while I see no sense in living, I do feel that since I'm at this place, I might as well cause as much havoc as I can before my time's up. Oh, and I'll of course pursue eternal youth, as the only purpose life has is to live forever. 'Cause if you don't, then your existance would'ave been obsolete. Do you remember or know much of your great grandparents? They lived just as full a life as you will, and, then, ask yourself, will your great grandchildren know much of you?

Life is meaningless, that's a fact you'll have to accept sooner or later. In the pursuit of life's meaning, some people find God, others cherish their time given, and some find despair. It's all a matter of what you wanna do.

So, the question is, do you feel like changing the world- not through politics-but through your way of life, or do ya feel like removing another self-pitying human from this world?

Well it's pretty normal I guess to some extend. It wasn't the "losing trust in humanity" and all though since I have been reading the newspapers for ages and following the news since I was... well pretty damn young.

I do ended up feeling sad, distrust and alone though when I ended up being bullied and ignored by my classmates, parents seperating etc.

You both mentally and physically change, so feeling different (postive and negative) is to be expected. Eventually things will turn out just fine.

Whoa. We are too similar. Until this point I thought you were talking about me. Then I read you don' t empathize for friends, I am different in this, I realised you weren' t talking about me and obviously stopped reading.

If you mean by losing all faith that the world has really screwed itself over and we're all doomed then yes I think alot of people go through that.

You're hormones become unbalanced during that period of your life, so you'll also observe mood swings.

Trut me, I was extremely negative back in the day and had to cry myself to sleep. Yet I am still here and I no longer think as negative as I did then. Aslong as you don't up getting kicked out of school or a street thug/gangster things will be just fine. =p
