I'm cleaning out my bookmarks and so I'm routinely going through and seeing which forums I go to are dead. I'm also finding out which forums I will be missed at if I leave. So, is this place dead? Will this forum ever make a come back? And if I were to leave this forum, would the community miss me?
It's a bit slow, but not dead yet. As for the last question, I know I wouldn't, you have been here for what, a month? A glorious two-digit post count doesn't really work in your favour either.

That's quite the odd question...
No, this place isn't dead. And it'll not be for a long time, I'm certain. In-fact, I like the pace of speed things are going around here; not too fast to not be able to keep up, and not too slow that it seems dead. It's fine, in my opinion.
Will we miss you: do we have any reason not to? No. But we don't know you for that long either to judge on that.

Compared to 4chan's /b/ it is dead. However /b/ is nothing but a stream of useless spam, while we do get some intelligent discussion going here. I don't think it is dead since I can have a decent conversation with people.
Back around 05-06 this place was far busier. At that time it was so busy that it was hard to keep up with threads. This place could be a bit busier, but I am able to keep up with everything that is going on.
Solace92;5414548So, is this place dead?
It's not dead, but it's not active enough for my taste either.Solace92;5414548Will this forum ever make a come back?I don't know. Probably not. :clueless:
And if I were to leave this forum, would the community miss me?
Well, it depends. How much would you like us to miss you? :naughty: :D

Nope, not dead. It changes pace, usually it tends to be most active in Spring, IIRC. You haven't been around long enough to talk about the forum "making a comeback", frankly. Although you seem to post well, you haven't made that many posts and so I don't know you well enough to miss you yet. Nice signature, though. Feel free to post more and make friends, if you're active then you tend to make friends, acquaintances, and e-pervy relationships. Well, that last part mainly applies if you're Tricorder ;)

I'm still here, so it can't be dead.
Oops. Voted for #1 when I meant #3. I've been lurking around since about 2002 and it has had its ups and downs. Certainly this is one of the less busy times, less busy than I'd like, but it's certainly not dead, and honestly this is one of the lower traffic times of the year. Why that is, I have no idea. But it's certainly going to rise back up a little bit, if not a lot.

It could be more active, that is true. So get posting!
Sure its alittle slow at the moment but it is far from dead. And will you be missed? Probably not, you have not been here long enough to make a very big impact.
