Goodbye and good riddance to the worst president since Jimmy Carter. :cya: Time break out the champagne or a bottle of fine wine and hold a huge banquet for all your friends and family. Sound expensive? Hey, at least you'll be doing your part to help stimulate the economy he destroyed.

He was certainly better than al gore or john kerry would have been...can you imagine if al gore had won? We'd be paying carbon tax on everything, and gas prices would be double (in the USA). Not to mention all kinds of other "environmental protection" policies he'd have instituted. And john kerry is just an idiot...he can't make up his mind on anything. Why complain about Bush...?

He didn't "destroy" the economy. Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda. Bush screwed up badly in a different way. I'm going to go mourn the death of the United States.

I think Obama will bring the states slowly back to where it should be. Its going to be a hard job though. Who is going to be president after Obama gets shot?

You call socialism where the states should be? We were built on capitalism. This man is against our current system in nearly every way.

To be honest, I think capitalism has fucked up the states a bit too much and its paying for its sins. Socialism can bring the balance back to things and maybe people would stop seeing the states as the bully and respect it for being at the forefront of so many things, like it used to.

This is purely from a Brits point of view by the way, but I have lived in the states on and off over the past few years
