So today 1 kid goes to me why the hell did you pic geography, my reply "because im not gonna be at thiss tupid school for much longer and cause i didnt want to do the other subjects", another kid asked me what i wanted to be when im older, i said wella t first im going to fo bricklaying (when im like 19-21 or aroudn that) and they jsut laughed, then i said i will go into the art industry and probaly do airbrushing or something, they jsut laughed again. every 1 at school thinks im going to be a falure in life because i want to have a simple job when im older, i dont understand, everybody just rags on me about it. its my choice so why do they have to say shit? Okay, i will also add in that i go to a private school, all the kids there a spilt rich and get what they want, accept me i am not rich we have money but we dont blow it on shit, we live in a simple hosue, have a simple car and do simple things.

Oh dear...

You capitalize the word I every time you use it.

It's spelled lawyer, not loyer.

Pick, not pic.

I can't go on, it's too disgusting...

This isn't bloody CS! You don't have the threat of someone jumping off a roof and shooting you in the neck. Take your time when you are writing, otherwise you justl look like a total fool.

Somehow, this topic just gave me a headache.

People will alway say stuff mate. Everywhere you go, there will always be someone who thinks they are better then you.

Truth is, the majority of people aren't happy with their life, and want bigger and better things. Humans are selfish by nature. This is why they dream of becoming lawyers and doctors, not because they enjoy the work or really want that as their career, but because they think those jobs = money and that's all they care about. Most of them wouldn't even know those jobs steal the first 8 years of your life at University, then the hours are terrible and so on. Basically, those kids are idiots.

Keep your dream alive champion. Become whatever you want to be.

Drop the art.

Pick up english.

Go into marketing or something.

Whatever. Just do what you feel like, nobody else can tell you what you want to do, however, they can give you advice on what they think you would be good at. Ask your form tutor what he or she thinks you should try.

Hey, don't be so quick to jump on the doctors, man. I've wanted to be a pediatrician for the longest time because I love working with children. There was no money involved; in fact, for a long, naive time, I had no idea doctors made any kind of money to speak of.

So there. :)

If you like those subjects the most, choose them. You aren't a failure in life when you've gotten a job which you think is fun, no matter how much it pays. Wether you want to flip burgers at a Burger King, or want to become the head of Sony, go ahead. Just try to become what you think it the most fun.

This however:

Spazybecause im not gonna be at thiss tupid school for much longer

Is wrong. Really, school isn't that bad, and if you finally graduate you have more chance of becoming what you want later on. Do not 'rush' school, and take the easiest path along your way, is my advice.

Oh, from what you've written I'd also suggest taking some more English classes ;).

[Cartman]Screw you guys! I'm gonna kick you in the nuts! Respect my authoritah![/cartman]

^^^ Do that.

Business studies isn't useless by a long stretch. Geography isn't so useful. Art is the high school/college equivalent of getting a university degree in tomato soup. And the construction industry actually has quite a bit of money in it for the right people. It ain't pretty, but that means that fewer people want to get into it these days, so experienced construction workers are at a premium. The art 'industry', not so much.
