PhasmatisApparatus;5235978This is great news. All I need is to find out the frequency these operate on, make a jammer, and I can commit all the crimes I want. :D (I'd like to meet the genius that came up with this idea. :lulz:)

KInd of like in MGS 4?

Red Menace;5233086I already have to legally keep my rifle and ammo gun-locked and in a safe, let me now find the right watch while an intruder is breaking in too.

Is this a county law? Because it certainly isn't a California law.

This is kind of cool, but if handgun merely functions if the watch is in close proximity, then would this be very effective in a close-quarters/hand-to-hand fight where the assailant could overpower the cop's hand, reverse the gun (with it still next to his/her watch), and pull the trigger?

Personally I think they need to research this one a little better...!

PhasmatisApparatus;5244095They disable your weapon due to there being nukes on the level or something stupid like that? I didn't play the game, I just watched "Metal Gear Awesome" a few dozen times.

It's actually waaaay more complicated than that! And MGS 4 rocks, by the way!

We'll, it's not like this is a step down from the current system. You can still get your own gun pulled on you, except this time, the assailant has to stay close to the watch. It's not impossible to get around, it's just hell of a lot harder.

Spoiler: Show
Nope. The bad guy gets ahold of the frequency, Gets on a boat and goes right into the middle of a city. Soldiers and helicopters surround him, he flips the switch. Everybody goes "Oh shit" as he kills them all.

I shouldn't have to explain what the spoilers are for.
