Hi all, Just made this model of a Challenger 2 MBT (1/35th scale Airfix), first tank I have made, im pretty pleased with it !!. It started out as a Kosovo conflict Challenger which I hand painted to look like a gulf war variant. Markings are ficticious, the coalition stripes are from a Revell M1 Abrams so are of the USA type (didnt have any UK ones to hand). Gonna have a go at a M113 A2 next then an Abrams and then the new French LeClerc tank. Any comments would be good !! Pictures are from my new Sony Erricson K750i with 2 megapixel camera, which I am also pretty happy with. :uhoh:

Not too shabby :) I have a couple of planes that I havn't painted yet, but I'm afraid to paint them myself. My painting talent ends at models.

I admire your dedication... I know that if I had tried to make that, I would have gotten it all assembled, tried painting it, gotten frustrated, and then tried to make a cool movie by blowing it up with various fireworks. So yeah, good job.

Sounds like a good movie. Nice job on the model Mono, I have a few Airfix Spitfires that I assembled/painted, also have an Aston Martin DB4 somewhere, must finish it sometime :lookaround:

They only models I ever managed to make, were the snap together ones, I'm sad. My cousin used to make alot of them though, he made like lowrider cars, with hydroulics and everything.
