Well it would work if we had a stable group of judging the stories before posting them. And maybe after that expand it to more and more users/writers.

I know that I wouldn't post any stories or poems, but would love a place where I could talk about books or authors with others that are interested. I have noticed that most threads like that don't last too long. I read a lot and like to talk with other people who are interested in the same thing.

Yes! A book sub-forum would be great! I'd have so much to talk about.

gizmo If it becomes a thing of popularity, and/or more interest arises, then we will reevaluate the proposal.

How do you define aforementioned interest/ popularity?

it's defined by what we deem to be an appropriate level of interest/popularity.

'Dreadnought[DK']it's defined by what we deem to be an appropriate level of interest/popularity.

And what do you (plural) deem to be appropriate?

I'm not being picky here, I just want to get an idea of what kind of interest/ popularity is deemed appropriate.

Ok - I left this conversation open to continue the talk about the idea, not to question the administrative decision.

In short, we looked into it and discussed this with the entire admin team, and decided that, right now, this isn't something we are going to do. We're not rookies, and most of us in this position know a thing or two about forums, adding them, not adding them, etc.

In one of my point of views, the poll itself speaks for itself. It isn't a clear "yes!, hell yes lets do this!" Also, adding the option, might is kind of cheating, because those 29 people, don't give you a proper answer, and those can be displayed as yes or no. The poll didn't play a major factor in the decision, experience did.

Cool beans?

That makes sense to me. I understand where the admin stand on the subject. I know that I chose might, just because of the way the initial definition showed a Lit forum. I would post reviews and remarks about books that I have read, but I am not one to post threads about any work that I myself might have created. If the forum was made with that in mind, my vote would be definite yes. Again though, I understand where the admin stands. Maybe a few months from now we will have more members who are interested in a section for literature. Until then, I will just have to be patient and wait.
