Whoa. These guys are pretty much plain-clothed on small motorbikes going 100mph through Asian traffic.

What Reuters will cover these days...

Some people get more out of life in one night then others do their whole lives. They'll talk about those guys for generations. They'll be idolized just like the bikers are now from the sixties. In 40 years they'll talk about all the old asian guys riding grandpa harleys.

Source"They are in their own world," said Abdul Azeez Rahim, a leader of the youth wing of Malaysia's main ruling party, which has tried to engage Mat Rempit with an outreach program. "They will die for each other."

Correct that, they will die with each other.

It's like that in England, we have "B.A.Bs", born-again-bikers. And they do carry machetes.

Aside from beating people up, I see no problem with them. If they want to race and die in an accident, let them. It would be neat to take the best and stick them in on the professional motorcycle racing associations.

If I was terminally ill with cancer I would be out there with them:p

I don't have money to fly out there:p.

I intend on getting a motorcycle license in the next year or so. I need something that I can afford gas for:p. I can't fit in the cars that good milage.

Bikes and motocycles are great. 15mph(25kph?) on a bike seems like 60mph(100kph?) since you got nothing between you and the road.
