[COLOR=black] CONYERS, Ga. (AP) - A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to force his estranged wife into an oven on Thanksgiving in front of their five children. Martin Luther Jackson, 31, of Decatur, has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, cruelty to children and possession of marijuana after the Nov. 23 incident, said Sgt. Jodi Shupe of the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office. Jackson and his 29-year-old wife, who have been separated since July, have five children ranging in age from 1 to 13 years old, Shupe said. Jackson apparently started fighting with his wife after she and the children returned to their Conyers home on Thanksgiving. At one point during the fight, Jackson allegedly attempted to stuff his wife inside the kitchen oven, which had been left on to heat the house, Shupe said. The woman escaped and went to the sheriff's office with visible head injuries, Shupe said. Investigators found Jackson hiding under a bed at his mother's house in Decatur, where he had been living since the separation, Shupe said.

Now i have heard some strange things in my time and yes, they have been the consequence of two couples fighting but to actually try and literally shove your wife... in a ... in a oven..is literally unbelievable. Im sure there were some turkeys selling for a cheap price during thanksgiving, so much for celebration of freedom

See…this is what happens when you’re a crack head…crack heads do stupid crap like this or climbing a clock tower with a high-powered rifle. It made it on the local nightly news; this guy’s mug shot cracked me up also, what a fruitcake. ...Not just in America Dr. Riot, I have a large list of crazy fruitcakes that have come out of the UK, so lets be nice, shall we.:nono:

Why does it always happen here in the south? What was his intention, to cook his wife?

Of course there's fruitcakes and nutter's in the UK, it's just that we don't hear of them weekly like America and they're not as severe.

This is true I suppose, our southern cousins in these here United States don't do anything subtle. The South is exactly why invading the US would be a bad mistake - crazy in good and bad ways!

We also have 5 times the population;)

Combine that with the fact everyone always wants to hear about the stupid/crazy Americans.

But yeah, there world is full of crazy people. I think we're all a little crazy, and some just cover it up better then others.
