You can't say Merry Christmas. You have to say "Happy non-denominational holidays". Otherwise I can have you arrested for violating the line of separation between church and state. :p

roper34;3410409 as far as im concerned the christmas stuff should start in December, Thats exactly what this mounth is.

This is not spam, I just thought it was a good idea, But from some of the responses i dont think i should have bothered.

I didn't mean your post was spam...there was an advertising post above mine, but I guess it got deleted and the user banned...that's the spam I was reffering to;)

And about this thread, it's nice that you posted, just a bit too early for my taste :)... Anyway, Merry Christmas!

To hell with all that political correctness nonsence, I couldent care less. I am not christian but it still annoys me when people say the word "Christmas" is offencive.

Merry Christmas? It's not the end of the month yet so 1t and 2nd Christmas day aren't around the corner just yet/ Besides an other holiday barely ended; Sinterklaas/Sint Nicolaas just ended (5 December, old Dutch traddition of which Santa Claus spawned).

I am not looking forward to christmas, have to work again as usual on both Christmas days. And seeing they fall outside my regular working days it will mean a very busy week for me and alsmost no spare time. Then ofcourse it also means some extra income though.

Nusentinsaino;3410223The exchange of consumer products in Christmas wrapping, many of which will be unneeded and/or unappreciated, contributes to the sending of consumer waste to landfills, unless consumers choose to regift them.

Artificial Christmas trees are manufactured by processes which may have harmful effects on the environment.

Christmas decorations for homes and for Christmas trees are consumer products which are sometimes discarded to landfills. Electric Christmas lights consume electricity, which, by most means of production, harms the environment. Candles and oil lamps can be fire hazards.

Increased travel to visit friends and relatives generally involves the consumption of fossil fuels.

After all, Christmas is defined not only the birth of Jesus Christ, but the corporation's favorite holiday.

(What? Im cynical allright.)

Even if you are joking or whatever...there are some things more important than the planet... Merry Christmas!!!

Baahh They use the trees to prevent erosion on the beaches here and along the rest of the coast.

My nuts also consume twice as much fossil fuels as the US average annually.

Merry Christmas all. :)
