Now to be fair: I don't mind Nathan Deal winning so much as David Perdue winning the senate seat.

Essentially: Outsourced jobs and was proud of it (his words), and just seems like another empty suit under the guise of the worst elements of Christian Conservatism. He may in fact actually be a true Christian Conservative, but...yeah, I'm not so sure how that helps his case :p

Things are going about as I expected them to in California, and Washington sadly seems to have passed a really, *really* poorly written gun control bill.

Not unusual forWashington, you know, in combination with legalization of recreational marijuana use, it just makes me wonder if they were high while writing it >.

Good job trying to enforce that. The Washington law says you need to be 21 to buy marijuana, not 18, 21. But you still have teenagers buying it from the smoke stores.

Same. I don't want to end up a bad boy in prison.

Well, I don't think anyone rationally does. Still, you can't necessarily cut off peoples' use of a substance with just a federal law. People will always find a way.

That said, I'll stick to alcohol for now

The weaker drugs are fine as long as you've got your shit wired. Lots of people don't. That's not the same as saying they shouldn't be allowed to have them, it's just saying they need to be treated with a certain amount of respect or they may very well help people to fuck themselves up.

Ironically when you make something illegal you trash the culture that might transmit those lower level warnings efficiently. :vikki:
