My friend of mine wanted to show me some cool adobe files.. When suddenly he showed me E-books for US marine, seal, army etc.. There were more than 20 E-books and the folder was like 600+MB. I thought the US kept these things a secret... :uhm: And no, I'm not in the US

America, being awesome, makes all government documents available for public use and viewing, unless they are classified in some way. They might also change the information just a skosh to make it fit for civilian consumption. Unless they've got "CLASSIFIED" or "TOP SECRET" written all over them, you should be good.

I think if the US wanted to keep that stuff secret, it wouldn't be be on your friend's computer.

Unless he's secretly selling top-secret government information to hostile nations.

Some manuals are classified others aren't.

There's an online database of some of the US army field manuals some of you might find cool.

Army Field Manuals

Quite a lot there in terms of volume. There's intelligence interrogation, sniper manuals, urban combat, counter guerrilla operations; to name a few of the more interesting subjects. I'll link those up bellow if you just want to go through them rather than flicking through the database yourself.

INTELLIGENCE INTERROGATION FM 34-52 Table of Contents

SNIPER TRAINING FM 23-10 Table of Contents

AN INFANTRYMAN'S GUIDE TO COMBAT IN BUILT-UP AREAS FM 90-10-1 Default

COUNTERGUERRILLA OPERATIONS FM 90-8 Table of Contents

21-76, Survival U.S. Army Field Manual, No. 21-76, Survival

There's a wealth of bang-bang knowledge on the net.
