Ok this question is for people who know Milkshape 3D very well.

Ok, here it goes. I made a ship model in Milkshape, and assigned the textures to the model, but when I used the ship in game, the texture weren't on the model. I have been asking people this question for a long time now, and many people have told me that the textures weren't attached correctly in Milkshape, but none of them knew how to do it correctly. Could someone that knows Milkshape please give me a full walkthrough on applying textures to a model in Milkshape??

Thank you very much,

Milkshape has a help file which covers this.

Also, make sure the image files are .TGA format. BC wont recognize anything else.

I think that your problem is with the way milkshape exports models. Make sure that the texture file names are 8 letters long or shorter. This is because milkshape will not export with file names longer than 8 characters. e.g. amb_glow.tga instead of ambassador_glow.tga.
