Don't get me wrong, I think Mr. Knox's ships are top-drawer, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to correct the odd little bug that appears in a couple of his mods. I have deleted the vox debug files but that hasn't fixed these things...

1. Minor damage to the deflector dish on ships like the Galaxy, Nebula and New Orleans causes the dish texture to disappear in place of the damage texture. Not sure if this is intentional (as if the dish smashes) but I think it looks a little odd!

2. On his re-scaled Ambassador version, sometimes when a volley of torpedoes hit the hull on the saucer, the warp engines are spontaneously destroyed!

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd be very grateful! :)

I don't know a way on how to remove this bug, but I think this is rather funny:D ! A direct hit on the deflector dish could cause it to destroy completly. And a direct hit on a power condouted could give a feedback in the nacels so that they explode!

Just thinking I suppose it was not meant to do that I think.

Delete the vox files in data/modes/ships/ship name. Then load the game, and new vox files will be created.

As for the Nacelles blowing up on a torp volley hit, that sounds like the Warp engine subsystem is in the wrong place, too near the hull or has a greater radius than the hull.

Try altering it in the MPE.
